The following was written by Charlotte Han and Dorian Jones.
Recorded in 2014, Pac Ave set out to record their 4th studio album, Christmas At Pacific. This album contains holiday classics such as O Holy Night, Carol of the Bells, Silent Night, and more! It was recorded by 40 University of the Pacific alumni and produced and mixed by professor Jeff Crawford. Christmas at Pacific was the first holiday venture for the student-run record label and has since been a success, selling out all copies with its first release. This is a great album for the family and the perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays!
Students picked other students. It’s something for parents, grandparents, family, and alumni.”

Following Christmas at Pacific, Pac Ave continued to work with student artists, producing various albums, singles, and EPs. Rose Gold, recorded in 2017, raised over $3,000 in proceeds that went towards relief efforts at Santa Rosa Junior College for the fires in Sonoma. “The project was going to be a tribute to the last 10 years of the Grammys’ Song of the Year, but that idea was repurposed as a benefit album by the end of the fall term”.
Two years later, Jelani Brown was signed as the Pac Ave artist of the year. He released an EP, First Impressions, which was the first hip-hop release from the label. The most recent release was No One Belongs Here More Than You by Issadora Ava. She has since garnered a large following, with over 2,800 followers on Instagram.
We primarily are focusing on local success. The entertainment industry primarily has shifted to mega-international stars and business. We’re the opposite. We’re bred for local and regional artists. And how we help the students.”

About the Team
We must give credit, spotlight and love to the amazing team that made “Christmas at Pacific”!

Above was Pac Ave’s small but powerful staff back in 2014. And they created this album in the span of 1 (again ONE) semester! Our current team tips our hats to them!
Other fun facts about the album include the proceeds being donated to a Local arts group, Harmony Stockton, who were coached by Pacific Staff members, Ann Miller and Lenny Ott.
They raised over $500 for Harmony Stockton.
This year’s group wants to match that with our giveaway for @childrenshomeofstockton.
